Spokane Falls Station

Target Completion Year:

2019

Service Areas:

North Spokane, West Plains

Estimated Impact:

Hundreds of Passengers
Better transit access in a convenient location

Description

Spokane Transit is designing a new transit station to be located on the campus of Spokane Falls Community College. The Spokane Falls  Station will allow hundreds of students and other passengers to take transit in a convenient location, reducing the number of people who have to cross busy Fort George Wright Drive to take the bus. The station will be served by STA routes 20 and 33 and construction is scheduled for summer 2019.

The planned station is the result of a partnership between STA, the Community Colleges of Spokane and the City of Spokane. The project has been made possible through a grant from the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The Spokane Falls Station is not funded by Spokane Transit’s 10-year Plan, STA Moving Forward. It appears on this site because it works alongside other STA Moving Forward projects and improvements.
