PROJECT

Increase Weekend Service on Wellesley Avenue

Target Completion Year:

May 2017

Service Areas:

North Spokane, Northeast Spokane, Northwest Spokane

Estimated Impact:

10,000
New Rides Annually

Description

Route 33 was previously an hourly service on Wellesley Avenue on Saturdays. Route 33 serves as a crosstown connection for customers traveling in North Spokane and the frequency was often inadequate to make many north-south connections. By improving the frequency to every 15 minutes, more people are now able to make more timely connections.
